Warmup Lap:
Like yesterday, the weather in Bahrain is sunny. All 29 cars are on their way into the starting grid.

Start:
Alzen wins the starting duel against Damien Faulkner, who some corners later is also passed by Zampedri. Huisman is in trouble and uses the emergency exit.

Lap 2:
The race order: Alzen, Zampedri, Faulkner, Westbrook, Walfisch, Saelens and Menzel. Menzel is under pressure of his team colleague Armindo. Faulkner is under pressure of Westbrook.

Lap 3:
Armindos Porsche is damaged on the front, but he can drive on. Michael Forsten comes into the pit and retires. Alzen can increase the gap on his followers Zampedri and Westbrook. Westbrook can pass Zampedri and improves on second position.

Lap 5:
Darryl O'Young spins. Alzen drives the fastest lap so far and is 3,5 seconds ahead his followers Westbrook, Zampedri and Faulkner. O’Young retires with a damaged car.

Lap 6:
It looks, as if like the positions are taken. Alzen is in a comfortable lead, Westbrook could gain a gap to Faulkner, who in the meanwhile got past Zampedri. Behind the Italian are Walfisch, Menzel, Saelens, Armindo, Benz and Schrey.

Lap 7:
Hynes comes into the pits and retires. In the Midfield a battle goes on between Schrey and Benz, further back van den Berg and Michael Bleekemolen are fighting.

Lap 8:
Benz and Schrey got contact. Benz spins, but can drive on.

Lap 9:
The race order: Alzen, Westbrok, Faulkner, Zampedri, Walfisch, Menzel, Saelens, Armindo and Schrey.

Lap 11:
Positions are taken. Alzen is in a comfortable lead, followed by Westbrook and Faulkner. In the Midfield still a lot of battling is going on.

Finish:
Uwe Alzen celebrates a start-finish-victory in front of Richard Westbrook and Damien Faulkner. The TOP-10 are completed with Zampedri, Walfisch, Menzel, Saelens, Armindo, S. Bleekemolen and Schrey. An awesome season opener at Bahrain has come to an end, compliments to all the actors of the Porsche Mobil1 Supercup.
