VELTINS MRS Racing
A pleasant surprise with passion
 
MRS became on of the pleasant surprises of the year in 2007. The continuous work of the team starts to pay off in the Supercup as well as in the German Porsche Carrera Cup. With William Langhorne and Olivier Maximin they celebrated clear succčs d'estimes in the international championship. The same happens in the national Cup in Germany, where the two Rookies René Rast and Olivier Pla had been successful. The pole position and a second rank in the qualifying for the Carrera Cup in Zandvoort became team’s highlights of the year. With this basis countable successes should not longer be surprise but the rule now.

The ambitious team from the German Lonsee near Ulm looks back on a very successful brands cup history. With Dirk Werner the team in a superior manner claimed the title in the Renault Clio Speed Trophy in 2003. One year before MRS already helped Sebastian Grunert to become a champion. The team also competed in the German V8Star series as well as in the Alfa 147 Cup. Even in the winter time MRS is not inactive: The newest field of activity is the Speedcar Series – of course with success.
