The full throttle Family
 
The former Formula 1 driver Michael Bleekemolen founded his own team in the middle of the eighties. Since that time the team has been able to bring in innumerable successes in different series. Racing in the Netherlands is hardly to imagine without the participation of a member of the Bleekemolen family. For many years now they have been a part of the dominant drivers and teams in Holland.
 
Long ago the family team from Holland has established also in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup, where they appeared in 2004 season for the first time. With team boss Michael, son Sebastian and the compatriot Jaap van der Lagen the team fetched some good results in the Supercup 2007 and ranked 8th in the team standings.
 
The most spectacular appearance of the whole family happened at the race in Monte Carlo. Father Michael used the season highlight as an opportunity to give his son Jeroen take precedence over his place behind the wheel. This one used the chance in a quite unique way: In the Mediterranean principality the former DTM professional provided the team’s season highlight with a pole position followed by the race victory one day later.
