Great job in the first year

With a great appearance in the 2007 season René Rast recommends himself for greater tasks in the second year. In 2007 he was beaten only marginal by Martin Ragginger in the talent sighting for the UPS Porsche Junior Team. Nevertheless he could really convince with an impressive performance and was contracted by the MRS Team right away.
 
The young man from the German Steyerberg justifies the confidence he was given with superb performance in the German Carrera Cup. At the end of the season he ends up on tenth rank in the driver standings, regularly finishing in the TOP10 positions setting his personal highlight in Zandvoort being second the qualifying and third in the race. In 2008 he will compete in both, the German Carrera Cup as well as the Supercup.
