Anniversary atmosphere in the House of Zampedri: For a decade the merchant from Brescia has participated in the Porsche Supercup and since this time the 38-year-old has been part of the most successful drivers in the scene. He always belongs to the potential winning candidates and claimed the championship title in the team of Walter Lechner in 2005. He has been faithful to the successful team from Austria for years now and will compete for the team also in the current season. Zampedri started with his career in Formula classes. Having claimed a title in an Italian rookie series, his way led him from European Formula classes to the USA. In 1996 he crosses the legendary Brickyard at the famous Indy 500 on fourth place. However, since more than ten years now he is devoted to "race with a roof". |
